Beautiful old-growth forests lead to powerful waves crashing on the rugged headlands with a serious velocity that can be safely contemplated from countless viewpoints.

Go Paddling!

Access the calm waters of Spring Cove directly from the South Swell Cabins property. This inside passage to the Ucluelet inlet is perfect for Stand-Up Paddle boarding and kayaking. Explore the many bays and secluded beaches along the way to the open Pacific Ocean.

Go Surfing!

Visit a local surf shop to get fully outfitted and hit the beach! Pacific Rim National Park is about a 15-minute drive and offers some of the best surfing beaches in western Canada.

Go on a Wildlife Tour!

Many outfitters in town offer various guided adventures such as; Whale & Bear watching tour, or boat tour to Hot Springs Cove.

Go Biking!

Cruise through Ucluelet’s many seaside parks or take the brand new paved bike trail through Pacific Rim National Park to Tofino. You will be passing through the park’s most infamous vistas at Wickaninish beach, Lovekin Rock and Incinerator Rock.

Enjoy the beach life!

Go beachcombing and view a beautiful sunset over the open Pacific Ocean directly across the street at Terrace beach. Also, surfers can be seen sharing the waves with common sighting of marine wildlife at spots like Florencia bay, Wick Beach, Lovekin and Incinerator Rocks.

Eat in, or eat out!

Your cabin’s kitchen is fully equipped for the chef within your group to enjoy! Or, take a casual 15-20 minute walk to downtown Ucluelet, where many amazing shops and restaurants offer a real authentic West Coast experience.
